Can't post new topic from P.C.

I couldn't post a new topic to this site using my nice new Windows 7 box because the "In a place" selection dialogue never showed up. It worked fine on another platform. The P.C. with Explorer handles AJAX from my rails application fine. FYI, also can't copy or paste from form fields on the same P.C. Again, the other computer platform works fine.
