Creo Drawing Save As PDF - Shifting Text
Community,
I'm currently using Creo Paramtric 3.0 M050, and when I save a drawing to PDF, some of the text shifts either to the left or to the right. The text is aligned perfectly on the drawing, as shown on left in the below the image as compared to the misaligned text on the right. Has anyone seen this before and is there a fix? Thanks.

How to turn a trail file into mapkey, suppressing user interaction
I'd like to have a note in Creo 3, created by mapkey, carrying model information.
Typing the parameters into the edit box results in Creo replaying letter for letter,
when using txa or mapkey. Almost painful to watch. Therefore, I've created a file containing
all information and imported it. I've stripped the resulting trail file of all unnecessary
lines and created a txa file as follows:
~ Activate `main_dlg_cur` `page_Annotate_control_btn` 1
~ Command `ProCmdAOGalleryList` 1 `FLAT TO SCREEN`
~ Command `ProCmdDtlInsFreeNote`
-0.150000 0.820000 L 0 1 0
~ Command `ProCmdDtlTextFromFile`
~ Trail `UI Desktop` `UI Desktop` `DLG_PREVIEW_POST` `file_open`
~ Update `file_open` `Inputname` `e:\\Workcenter\\Creo3param.txt`

Works fine, but I'd rather have a mapkey than a txa file:

Creo stops and asks for the placement, is it possible to turn this off?
Besides:
* txa files, once executed in Creo 3 ,can't be deleted within this session, just overwritten
* Running a txa file that produces an error disables the function to load any other trail file.

How do I set up creo or license server to reacquire licenses smoothly after vpn disconnect?
Right now I have two users working remotely via VPN. We have a floating license setup with only two licenses. The VPN times out occasionally and restarts smoothly (the user doesn't usually know this happnes). The issue is that when this happens and the Creo instance tries to reconnect to the license server, the server will not give back the same license.
Are there any settings to help fix this issue?

slanted cells - table
I am manually creating a table that is supposed to match one on a reference drawing.
Does anyone know how to create slanted/angled headers for a table? It is supposed to look like this:

Can you make annotations parallel to, normal to, or coincident with the surface to which they apply in a drawing?
I have enabled the allow_3d_dimensions within the dtl file, but am still unable to make notes and/or tolerances show up in any configuration other than flat to screen. Does anyone know if these can be shown in the same manner as "3D Dimensions"?

Can I use the WF 2.0 license server install on Win7
I'm trying to move an old license to a new server. Got a new license file and ran the WF2.0 PTC install from the old disk for the license server. It seemed to go OK but it won't allow the server to start. The license pieces don't generate any errors - but when it finishes it says couldn't start license server and it points to a .log file that is supposed to be down in the flex directory but it isn't there.
Does this old installer not support Win7? Where would I get a newer one?

Obtain feature count from mfg file?
Folks,
I have a model of a plate where the holes were defined with sketched circles, then extruded. The designer did this for several different groups of holes. The holes are called out in the drawing by a GDT note with the quantity called out by a text note, not a parameter.
Creo 2 (M100) MFG is able to find the holes without any headaches. I'd like to automatically populate drawing notes (and NC seq. comments) with the quantity of features but I'm not sure how or where to get the number of holes in a machining sequence. Each hole making sequence shows the quantity of holes to be drilled in the collector Reference dialog box, but where is this quantity stored? Is there a parameter that I can query that holds this value?
Any help will be greatly depreciated ;-)

Does anybody use the manufacturing harness model to create a detail drawing
I have been wrestling with creating detail drawings of manufacturing harness models. The biggest issue is creating stable dimensions. Any small movements in the 3d model of changes, tends to wreck the dimensioning scheme. We are currently using Wildfire 4.0 and will be transitioning to Creo 2.0

Missing commands from Creo
Hello,
I recently bought a new laptop and installed Creo parametric given to me by my school. When I went to start sketching I noticed that I no longer have commands like "arc", or corner rectangle, or even any drop downs menus really. The ribbon looks very simplified and I have no clue why. How can I get it back to normal?I have a ton of assignments coming up and would love to get this resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

CREO Latency
Hello,
I am currently detailing an assembly. I wouldn't say the assembly is particularly large. Can anyone tell me why it takes 1-2 minutes to switch windows from assembly to drawing? Is there any way to speed this up? Thank you.

Extended Reported Parameters
Goodmorning,
I would like to better understand the difference between the reported and extended reported parameters:
Furthermore, I have two questions:
- sometimes when I save an assembly as shrinkwrap happens that the PRO_MP_SOURCE is set to FILE instead of ASSIGNED and all the other alternate properties are empty.
Do you know why?
- In a part where PRO_MP_SOURCE is ASIGNED, if I manually change (i.e. decrease) the value of PRO_MP_ALT_MASS and regenerate, if I check the Analysis - Mass Properties - Assigned, what I often notice is that the INERTIA TENSOR at CENTER OF GRAVITY changes a lot ( i.e. inertia values increase of one order of magnitude).
Obs. that the position of the center of gravity is not changing.
How is computed the assigned inertia at the center of gravity? shouldn't be using only the alternate parameters?
