I can see overral model length through model size function in investigate tap.
But I want to know W,H,L dimension of model(Part or Assembly)
How to do?
Please let me know good technique.

We wish to store parts always in english speech. (PartLibrary --> ModelManager)
But when the user log in german, the parts are in german. (lang=german)
We search a solution.
in German:
Wir haben 3 Entwicklungsstandorte. Benutzer loggen in deutsch oder auch in englisch ein.
Bei der Ablage von PartLibrary-Teilen, werden diese in der jeweiligen Sprache abgelegt.
Wir möchten dies nun für alle vereinheitlichen und die Teile generell in englischer Sprache ablegen.
Hat hier jemand eine Idee?

This morning, when I opened CREO Parametric 3.0, I received this message:
When I clicked continue, I received a message about a 'jQuery' error and 'Script' error. When I requested for the script to stop running, I was faced with this blue screen:
So, I proceeded to shut down my computer. When I rebooted my computer and opened the Creo program, I received the retrieval message again, along with the blue screen. I decided to shut down and reboot my computer. After the rebooting process, I uninstalled all Creo 3.0 files and installed Creo 4.0 files.
When I open Creo, I still get the retrieval message, but I also get a 'Warning Message List':
Clicking OK on this warning completely closes Creo Parametric.
Is anyone else encountering this issue and have you found a solution?

dimension tolerance upper and lower states +0.001 -0.001 doesn't match drawing dimension +1 -1 not sure what to do, can somebody explain please, missing dimension decimal places!

I had made a mistake on the size of on piece and when I added that piece to the combination or essemble it was smaller than the other pieces of the combination or essemble. How can I make that piece bigger ?

I want to explode the notes into Geometry. I mean I want to convert all notes into Geometry. That Geometry can be anything like line, polyline etc.
Is there any command in Creo by which I can select the text and explode it into Geometry?

Whenever I go to use the measure function in creo parametric 4 on a model or assembly the program freezes then crashes. Not an intermittent problem, this happens every single time the tool is used. the software has been updated since the problem started which did not help. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how was it resolved. Thank you in advance.
How are attachments added to masterdata in Model Manager?
We are working with "Creo NC Manufacturing" module, we are able to generate .cl,.mbx,.lst,tl1..etc files at local machine (say desktop).
But when working with "Creo NC Manufacturing" along with WINDCHILL,same files are not generated in windchill worksapce.
please guide is there any settings needed in windchill preference.
I mean how to draw BSC in GTOL annotation as in the picture?

We have 4 64 bit machines in our school which have a different sketch ribbon set up to the 32 bit machines, I am trying to make them the same. I have tried importing "creo_parametric_customization.ui" from a 32 bit machine but nothing changes, also the option to add icons to the sketch ribbon is greyed out so I assume the option to customise the ribbon is disabled some how. How do I enable the option to customise the ribbon?

I am using a hyperelastic material model. To check the simulation, I defined a monitor point to see the stress in the function of strain. I think, the defined matarial curve and the stress-strain curve from monitor point should be same. But the result shows quite interesting curve:
The curve from result gives lower stress value compared to the defined material model.
What is the reason?

estoy intentando exportar una pieza solida a DXF en Creo parametric 4.0 para mandarla a una maquina laser, pero al abrir la pieza me dicen que ven muchas rallas y recutangulos sin sentido aparente, es decir, no pueden abrir bien el formato DXF desde creado desde CREO, pero si lo pueden abrir si hago la misma pieza en otro programa CAD. ¿Que puedo hacer?
I need to create a UDF for my user group that will create engraved text on the outer diameter of a flange. Also the text needs to be able to rotate around the circumference of the flange a full 360 degrees. This is because there are sometimes other features located on the flange outer diameter that need to be avoided.
So I created the text using the feature list below and this has the ability to be rotated around 360 degrees.
My issue occurs when I create the UDF. When it comes time to select the references for the Offset feature I can only pick one reference (in this case a surface) for the collector in the UDF prompt window. But when creating the Offset feature I am able to select both halves (surfaces) of the outer diameter in order to make the full rotation work. So when placing the newly created UDF in an existing part it works up until you try to rotate the features past 180 degrees then the features start losing references. Obviously this isn't acceptable because I can't have users recreating features for something that was supposed to save them time.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a different approach to create this text or a work around for the UDF creation? Has anyone run into this issue with UDF creation and a different feature?
Also the text does need to be fairly accurate as the CNC Programmers attached to my group will be using these models.
