I am trying to constrain a piece that moves on a lead screw and is supported by two rods(image below). The piece should move linearly along the rods as the screw rotates. I am having an issue constraining the housing to the rods and screw as a mechanism. The best option seems to be the cylinder option, but I can only constrain it to one of the rods or screw and when I drag it, it rotates. Is there a better way to do this?

in the pop-up menu there is show model annotation command , however, it show dialog and ask for axis .
there is funnction proshowannotationbyview and proshowannoyationbyfeature function, and both show all axis annotation of a view or a feature.
how to show an single axis annotation by protiolkit, and the axis is found by the selected circle edge.

I modify a note by Jlink. But if the command is finished I see the old note.
If I regenerate the drawing manual I see the new note also. The regenerate of the drawing doesn't work in the command.
Have anyone an idea?

Problem:
In assembly relations a dimension session ID is lost/changed.
Information:
The error given in the message line is "Line 819 assembly RAKE_BEAM: Symbol 'D0:14826' not found."
The error given in the relation editor is "Invalid symbol 'D0:14826' found.
For example D0:124=length:199 will change to D0:14826=length:199
The part that the relation is referring to is suppressed by pro/program.
I can fix this by opening and regenerating the suppressed part. Then when I go back to the assembly the relations are fine.
This is not happening to any other suppressed parts within that same assembly.
What do think is going on here?

I and setting up a post for a Leadwell V-60i and need to set the Tool as modal. When I set this option in the Tool Change Sequence output options to "T-code is modal" it will stop posting the T code but still posts an M06.
How can I set up my post not to post an M06 when the T code is modal?
Does any one have a post for this machine that they can share?

Hi, I am sure many of us have encountered this problem and may be there was already a lengthy discussion about it before. I hope to learn more about this issue from all of you.
Whenever creating a sweep feature along a closed contour, using "trajpar" parameter in its section will fail the feature most of the time. The questions are:
1. reasons of failure
2. does this happen also in Creo 3 or even Creo 4?
3. What really annoy me the most is it does not fail ALL the time, sometime it just works fine. I have an example here:
The first feature works well. The 2nd and 3rd features differ only in dimensional scheme and this made a huge difference ! I attached here Creo 2 file so that you can play with it and please share what you find/learn from it. Thanks in advance.
I guess i am having bad day today . While working on the sweep problem posted earlier, I found another strange thing in sweep. The sweep feature (along half the circle this time) failed, but this is resolved by temporarily alter its relation, preview and then restore to its original equation and the problem gone !!
Anyone can help to explain this ? You can try it on the attached Creo file.
At startup of Creo, the webpage that opens can be set to a specific page in the config.pro file. If I do so, the default pages/tabs dissapear. However, how can one define several "tab" that open in the browser at startup?

It is like it is reading ahead on RETRACT and anticipating a move to B180.
Same Creo file, just Use Rotation on or off. Seems to be in the .ncl somehow. Anyone else see this problem? Creo Parametric 2.0 Date Code M220.
Feels like lately it has been taking much longer to save assembly files.
Maybe I changed a config setting that might be effecting this.
Can someone tell me how to constrain the cycloidal gear above in CREO 2.0 Mechanism? I've used the slot and pin constraints, and the gear stays within the bearings as it should when the input shaft is rotated. But the gear rotates erratically, sometimes it moves much more than it should and sometimes doesn't. The gear should "rotate" 51.43 degrees with each complete rotation of the input shaft.

Is it possible to edit the ribbon menu in ModelManager? I want to add a button to toggle the BOM module on and off. This way users can quickly turn it on to create a BOM and then turn it off to release the BOM license for others to use.
